Furniture!
I have been bitten by the furniture bug! I have been looking at it non stop and cannot wait to we have a house of our own so we can buy new furniture. Right now we have a really small space and if we got anything now, we would need furniture that get fit in a smaller space. That is why I love drop leaf dining tables. That way you can make the table smaller with out actually having to take out a leaf and store it. Look at these drop leaf table options at CSN stores. CSN stores has many different tables to choose from! I could spend hours looking at all the different tables and pieces of furniture!

My first Giveaway Yoplait Whips!
I recently received a gift pack from MyBogSpark. It was a Yoplait Whips pack! It had a Yoplait Whips! insulated canvas bag, a coupon for a Yoplait Whips! yogurt and a cute ice cream cone shaped frozen treat mold. My son immediately grabbed the frozen treat molds and claimed it as his own. He also claimed the Yoplait Whips! as his own. This kid loves yogurt and the texture of the whips are his favorite. He really thinks he is having a treat and is always asking for them at the store. Would you like to win one of your own Yoplait Whips prize pack of your own? All you have to do is become a follower and leave a comment! Its that easy! I will pick a winner August 31st. Good luck!
small print- I received a free prize pack provided by Yoplait through MyBlogSpark. This is my honest opinion.

I'm back!
Well, I am back! We have been busy spring cleaning here. I did finally get the crib together, but then I could not get the pictures to transfer from the camera to the computer.
But anyway, I have to tell you all what I am excite for this weekend. There is a local cloth diaper store about 40 minutes from me in Lees Summit, MO. I have been there once before and this weekend the are having a used cloth diaper sale! I have never been to one before and can't wait. I only have a few cloth diapers and I would like to check out the different types. They have a website, www.happybottomus.com . They do online orders as well, so check them out! They are very easy to work with and are very helpful when choosing cloth diapers and accessories.

Movin' up
Movin' up to a crib that is! Baby J is getting too long and heavy for his bassinet, so we finally bought him a crib. I held off on this b/c Isaiah would not sleep in his crib. At all. We co-slept until Nathan and I got married and moved in together a year ago. It was a very smooth transition. He is now a great sleeper in his own bed.
On the other hand, baby J has slept in his bassinet since we came home from the hospital. He was a pound and a half smaller than his older brother and I was afraid to have him in bed with me. Although I love co sleeping with Isaiah, baby J likes sleeping by himself (with the bassinet so close to the bed the are practically connected, lol). So we bought him a crib. Its a pretty sleigh 3 in 1 crib by Delta. I will take pics as soon as I am done! It make take a little bit, b/c I am doing it by myself. Yes, I have a husband that can help me, but I am particular about putting things together. I love my hubby dearly, but sometimes he just does not have a gentle hand when putting things together and I am afraid he will break something.
Wish me luck!

Cloth diaper newbie
I am a cloth diaper newbie. I wanted to CD my oldest son, who is now 5 1/2, but I didn't because he was going to be going to daycare and I worked full time outside of the home. When I found out I was pregnant with J, I knew I wanted to cloth diaper, and now I am!
I have been cloth diapering J since Monday and I am in love!! We have some Kushies Ultra Lite diapers that seem to work really well. I tried those when he was about a month old and they seemed a little big and leaked. But now, he is a little bigger and they fit wonderfully now, with room to grow! The designs are really cute and the hook and loop closure is east to use. He is a heavy wetter and I have not had to use a doubler yet.
I have also been using Econobum prefolds. I didn't think I would like prefolds, but I do. I love that you ca reuse the covers as long as they aren't soiled. They have tons of snaps on the covers so you can adjust the fit. The prefolds themselves are soft, unbleached cotton. Right now they are a little bulky, but I have not had any leaks with these either.
I can't wait to try some more diapers and diaper covers. What are your favorites?
